Have you ever though of yourself as a Faith Keeper. Well all of us who have the Light of the Lord within us are Faith Keepers. And, we will answer for having kept the Faith, or trotted it under foot. This is a very sobering statement, but it is one that must be brought to light.

There is too…..much compromise in our world. To many people with their heads in the sand, allowing man to control them even in their keeping of the Faith. This morning we will look into God’s Word for a better definition of Faith Keepers. Before we open God’s Word let us pray.

Father, guide us into that place of true belief. Where we can not only confess You, but possess You. That we may begin to live out the Faith that we claim, instead of allowing the world to dictate our actions. Bring us back into that Holy place where we first met You.

Touch us afresh with Your Spirit. Give us a new excitement over all that You have for us as we live this life. Renew in us the joy we felt when first we met You face to face. And for those who claim You, but have never Named you as Lord of their life. Use this devotional to rekindle the Faith that You long to share with all of Your children. Bring us back to the beginning place of grace and salvation. We ask this in Thy Holy Name, O’ Lord. Amen

Luke 12:47-48; “That servant who knows his Master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what his Master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”

When we take the time to truly hear the Word of God, it becomes a mirror of grace to us. A true reflection of Who God is, and Who we are. This is a good thing! Because, it teaches us to trust, believe and in Faith to Act upon His Word. I always remember how blessed I am to have been given the gift of writing, and whether it be just one that receives what God gives me, that will be enough. For when God gives us His Words, or any gift He may bless us with, it is not meant to be hidden away but to be used for His Glory. What gift’s has God given you?

Are you aware of certain talents unique to yourself. Then I urge you to activate them by Faith, be God’s Faith keepers. Begin to ask God how you are to use these Gift’s to bless Him. Then as you catch hold of the Vision God has for your life, you will truly begin to live in the flow of His Spirit. There are countless gifts in God’s treasure Chest. As we begin to partake of His blessings, He will give us more and more. He will multiply His blessings to us. Then we are walking in step with our Savior.

Matthew 9:1-2; “Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to His own town. Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart,” son; your sins are forgiven.”

Continuing in Matthew 9:7-8; “And the man got up and went home. When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.”

Here we have a perfect example of the power of Faith. The men who brought this paralytic to Jesus, had Faith that Jesus would heal him. And, because Jesus was so touched by their Faith He healed the man.

Just imagine if all of us had the Faith of these men to pray and believe that God would hear and heal. I think the main point here is to believe before we see, that is after all true Faith. Then as we become this example before men, we become keepers of the Faith. Faith is not only built in us, but in other’s as well.

Somehow I feel a real urgency in reminding you of this today. Day by day our world becomes less keepers of the Faith, and more dependent upon their own self-righteousness. This can only lead down a path of utter destruction. The further man walks away from God the thicker the darkness around him becomes. Before we know it our whole world will be consumed in this darkness. We need the light of God to shine in our world today perhaps more than ever before. We are up against an enemy who wants God’s Name destroyed. But, we who have experience Christ and His Salvation, must speak up, we must be heard, we must be keepers of the Faith. For the next generation cries out to us. Dare we drop the torch. Dare we turn our back on the children who will come after us. This is not a lost generation, this is a beloved generation. This Christmas Season, let this be a reminder to go back and experience Christ. Remember the Love it took to bring Him to this earth. Let your heart be open to that Love again. Walk into the light and out of the darkness of fear and depression. A whole bright new world await you. And Remember, You are holding the light for the next generation, don’t let them down. Be Keepers of the Faith.

Take God’s Light and feel it’s Power lift your eyes to heaven, Your heart to unite with His, in a love that will bring light to Restore this World to new Faith, new Hope, new Love.

Light the Way!

God Bless you,

Love, Dianne
